The missing link in laboratory automation

The missing link in laboratory automation

CHRONECT® Bionic is a new and unique solution in the laboratory world. Autosamplers offer a high degree of automation, but provide a limited range loading, so that automatic sample preparation is spatially limited. Many laboratory workflows have had difficulty being automated previously. CHRONECT® Bionic is a multidimensional working robot with six independent joints enabling an expansion of the loading working area.

CHRONECT® Bionic expands automatic sample preparation for steps that previously had to be performed manually, enabling a wide range of applications. The first application example automates powder dosage which has been developed by a collaboration between Axel Semrau®, METTLER TOLEDO GmbH, Trajan Scientific and Medical and Jüke Systemtechnik GmbH. This collaboration has enabled fully automated weighing of up to 32 substances during sample preparation. CHRONECT® Bionic provides the missing link for complete automation. Precise dosing and weighing technology from METTLER TOLEDO, combined on the XYZ robots complete the sample preparation steps.

CHRONECT® Bionic automates both time consuming and unpleasant working steps, improving precision and reducing sources of error in sample preparation, leaving laboratory staff more time for other work. CHRONECT® Bionic closes the gap in any laboratory and is available in different variants. For European customers, point of contact is Axel Semrau®. Trajan Scientific and Medical is responsible for North America.
