Unlocking potential through partnerships

Trajan Scientific and Medical's (Trajan) Chief Scientific Officer Dr Andrew Gooley was invited to the Future Industries Institute at the University of South Australia on 27 February 2017, to discuss how to unlock potential through university-industry collaboration.

Hear firsthand from both Prof Emily Hilder (Director, Future Industries Institute, and Deputy Director, ASTech) and Dr Andrew Gooley (Chief Scientific Officer, Trajan), about how Trajan has established and nurtured a successful collaborative partnership with academia to produce innovative technologies.

They outline the level of commitment needed for collaboration, and illustrate the journey with a range of joint projects including "Lab-in-a-Syringe" microsampling and hemaPEN® device development, as well as the establishment of ASTech (ARC Training Centre for Portable Analytical Separation Technologies).
