Company history

A foundation built on science

Together

Trajan Scientific and Medical (Trajan) was founded in 2011 to make a positive impact on human wellbeing.

We have brought together a talented global team, technologies, and capabilities; collaborating closely with academia, industry and government.

How it started

Trajan started at the kitchen table with this question...

How can we make a positive impact on society?
Driven by impact and purpose

Trajan was established in 2011 by Angela and Stephen Tomisich, self-funded, sole shareholders until June 2021 (IPO).

With backgrounds in analytical chemistry and biomedical science, they are fanatical about making a positive impact through science.

Inspiration in name and action

Trajan was known for his philanthropic rule, overseeing extensive building programs, and implementing social welfare policies, which earned him his enduring reputation as the second of the Five Good Emperors who presided over an era of peace and prosperity in the Mediterranean world.
