The role

The person in this role acts as the primary point of control for all instrument configuration and supply related processes in the Automation business. The two key elements of the job are the technical assembly and testing of the instruments and the effective management of inventory to ensure availability and accuracy of equipment, raw materials and consumables necessary to support sales of automation platforms. Key competencies of the role include the ability to translate product specification information for suppliers, source instruments, modules and components for automation workflows, validate them on arrival for accuracy to specification, and configure and test the full system before dispatch to the customer. It also includes management of critical inventory items and warehouse operations to support all platforms for repair, maintenance and consumables sales.

The role requires a technical understanding of multiple system assembly, configuration and hardware options and must collaborate with automation specialist/product management team providing guidance as needed during the quoting process.

The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of inbound and outbound shipping, both domestic and international, to streamline and ensure minimal delay by pro-actively addressing customs and import/export needs.

To be successful in the role you will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience as Engineering technician, Supply Chain Management or appropriate technical / instrument industry experience covering testing, logistics, inventory management may be substituted for the degree above.
  • Comfortable assembling, testing and inspecting electro-mechanical equipment to specification and working with suppliers as necessary.

Areas of responsibilities
  • Generate production schedule, including oversight of accurate and timely data entry into Pronto
  • Optimize supply plans and inventory levels, monitoring replenishment of stock lines using demand plans and historical data
  • Develop improved processes that drive production execution
  • Consolidate and release works orders as required.
  • Expedite orders to meet customer requirements as required.
  • Own planning board and daily shop-floor forums to drive organization alignment

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of complex products across the analytical workflow including both analytical and medical device products. The successful candidate will be a crucial interface in translating the outcomes of research collaborations to commercial product.

The role
  • Overall responsibility for the successful execution of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure
  • To manage multi-disciplinary project teams across multiple business units to time and budget
  • To motivate and lead key resources for the efficient and effective execution of project meetings and workshops
  • Stakeholder management, including communication of all relevant project information to the project sponsor, commercial team, and senior management.
  • Communicate project priorities, monitor and escalation of unresolved issues which impact deliverables
  • Ensure the documented project records are accurately maintained in compliance with Trajan QMS and other project requirements
  • Support the project sponsor in regards to the project in discussions with the commercial team and/or customer(s).
  • Meet customer expectations; pre-empt situations and plan solutions before issues arise.
  • Ensure current company policies and practices are followed.
Key selection criteria
  • Experience working in new product development with a preference in developing medical devices and working in an ISO13485 environment
  • Complex Project Management experience of at least 3 years (with a preference for medical devices) with demonstrated experience in the initiation, execution and delivery of product development projects
  • A proven ability to be self-directed to meet tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, effectively maintain budgets and to deliver on customer requirements

The role

Reporting to the Financial Controller Americas, the Accountant – Compliance will assist in meeting all global regulatory and statutory obligations from a financial accounting perspective. It requires the extensive execution of detailed financial, cost accounting and transactional work. You will engage in financial accounting duties across multiple locations with an emphasis on Compliance.

Tax and contract compliance:

  • Prepare and compile information to provide to external firm for federal and state tax returns.
  • Work closely with third party providers in order to review sales, payroll and excise tax filings.
  • Utilize and develop a basic understanding of various tax programs and tax software.
  • Prepare deferred tax calculations and GSA Contract Reporting.
  • Maintain Intercompany and Transfer Pricing transactions and setup, ensuring compliance with relevant policy.

The ideal candidate will possess
