In 2017 the joint venture between Trajan Scientific and Medical (Trajan) and leading experts in the field of nutrition, Professors Maria Makrides and Robert Gibson was established as Trajan Nutrition. The initial focus of Trajan Nutrition was to improve the health of mothers and their children through the provision of information to support the development of a personalized dietary pathway to better health. This still remains an important element of Trajan Nutrition’s work.
Trajan has now established 100% ownership of Trajan Nutrition to support the expansion of its Melbourne based analytical laboratory testing services. Trajan’s analytical laboratory testing services aims to support the growing demand, highlighted by the advent of COVID-19 and need for service to a broader vulnerable community, providing patient centric blood sampling techniques, and the accelerated deployment of microsampling tools for remote monitoring applications.
