CERTUS FLEX is a modular system in two basic versions, with 5 or 8 individually controllable channels. These channels can be equipped with different valves to facilitate ideal dispensing of substances with different physical properties.
Unparalleled accuracy, precision and flexibility
The CERTUS FLEX has been developed for contactless dispensing of a broad range of liquid substances and large molecules, using Gyger's renowned microvalve technology and air pressure control, giving you maximum precision and flexibility.
Flexible fluid uptake options to meet your exact needs
Fluids can be supplied to the dispenser from bottles and tubes for bulk dispensing, or from syringes to achieve the lowest dead volumes. This allows you to more effectively dispense smaller volumes and high value substances from luer-lock syringes (from 3 - 60 mL).
Unique microvalves for more dispensing operations, with less dead volume
Over 500 million cycles without losing accuracy.
CERTUS FLEX
The CERTUS FLEX liquid dispenser delivers volumes in single doses, in contrast to many other techniques, allowing you to have the fastest delivery and the longest valve life. With an assortment of valve sizes, you can dispense a wide range of fluid types:
SiLA compliant for seamless process integration
Our SiLA automation interface allows you to integrate your CERTUS FLEX into your laboratory automation workflow with confidence. Drivers are already available for most major integration software, and more are being developed all the time.
CERTUS CONTROL PC software is both intuitive and easy to program
With a windows-based user interface, the CERTUS CONTROL software has a familiar look and feel, making everyday use straightforward. Both basic and complex dispense patterns can be created, with the software, or by importing CSV, to allow the Flex to compliment your workflow seamlessly.
Service you can trust
Our Gyger manufacturer-certified service team is ready to keep your CERTUS FLEX at its peak performance.
Expert training
We have the expertise and experience with microdispensing across many different laboratory environments. We can guide you to the best system set-up and protocols for your laboratory's workflows.

The LEAP CHRONECT® XPR integrated powder-liquid automation system is a complete workflow like no other. This powerful platform is achieved through seamless coordination of industry proven, trusted, modular elements.
The high-precision, safe and reliable powder automation you’ve always wanted.
Integration of accurate dosing and weighing technology into liquid sample preparation maximizes your time and resources while minimizing user exposure and error sources.
The most complete, trusted and flexible system available
The industry-leading XPR powder dosing capability, from METTLER TOLEDO, enables the highest level of accuracy and safety in powder delivery. The calibrated and certified balance is isolated from the moving components through optimized mass and mechanical damping. The integrated, multi-axis, cooperative robot combined with the precision-engineered platform facilitates the automation of up to 32 different powders.
Synchronized and in parallel, the PAL workstation automatically seals and caps vials, adds accurate liquid volumes, agitates, vortexes, mixes, heats, and or promotes dissolution or extraction from the solid, according to your workflow.
Positive tracking and traceability of powder dosing heads through RFID
Positive tracking and traceability of powder dosing heads is achieved through embedded RFID tracking. This tracking and workflow information can be output directly to LIMS systems, data systems, PDF, Excel or CSV formats.
Chronos software
The powerful Chronos software empowers users with familiar sample/method based control. The Chronos software natively drives all modules in the system, eliminating any need for robot programming in your laboratory. Chronos also expands compatibility to integration with large scale automation systems, all major analytical instrument data systems, and legacy QX96 excel files.
Compact footprint allows you to handle powder samples in a safe, inert gas environment
The integrated system is designed with your lab in mind, and a footprint compatible with benchtop, open laboratory environments and both positive and negative pressure cabinets.
Powder can be added to vials in a completely isolated environment, sealed in inert gas, and prepared for any analytical technique, without users coming into contact with potentially toxic or otherwise hazardous powders.

High-throughput, high sensitivity and low carryover: the new infusion automation from Trajan offers you everything you need to bring your lipidomics mass spec workflow to its peak performance.
Move from manual sample infusion to the highest standard of infusion automation. With rapid cleanup between injections and best-in-class software architecture to integrate into your workflow, our infusion automation will elevate your lipidomics experiments.
The most consistent and flexible system available for infusion automation
Fully customizable infusion eliminates carryover concerns while saving you time. Allows for sample infusion at flow rates between 5 and 100 µL/min — directly into your ESI source via the injection valve — precisely and without pulsation. Compatible with both shotgun and targeted lipid analysis.
The powerful Chronos software can execute important operational and integration functions such as reading and reporting to LIMS software, as well as MS acquisition mode switching within a single infusion. The system maintains flow to the source while quickly and thoroughly washing the syringe system for the next infusion.
Exclusive inert configuration is available for your trickiest lipid classes — ensuring your samples never come into contact with any polymers.
“We just ran a whole pile of samples. It ran 24/7 without a hitch. Very reliable.” - Calvin Vary, PhD, Proteomics and Lipidomics Core Facility Maine Medical Center Research Institute, Maine, USA.
Upgrade sample throughput without worrying about carryover
The LEAP PAL injector head is a syringe pump itself, making it the ideal sample delivery system for ESI flow rates, unlike conventional HPLC pumps.
Many lipids are notorious for their adherence to glass and other surfaces resulting in carryover between samples. The special LCMS syringe tool incorporates unique features to minimize this carryover to below 1% for the abundant neutral and phospholipids and even lower for other species.
The illustration below shows how this rapid washing is achieved. After washing the inside, the system will wash the needle externally and be ready to aspirate the next sample.

Greatest experiment control with powerful, user-friendly software
The infusion process is controlled using our Chronos software, allowing maximum compatibility with your preferred Chromatography Data System, LIMS and MS data systems.
Method parameters are available for flow rates, infusion times, stabilization delays and cleanup conditions, MS acquisition method switching.
With an optional second valve, standard chromatography methods can be used in the same sequence with direct infusion samples.
